New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1969 Plymouth Road Runner (440 3x2) 2 Door Hardtop with black exterior paint and a matching black vinyl interior. You’ll find a 440 cid V-8 engine under the hood with three double-barrel carburetors and a four-speed manual transmission, plus this desirable classic is equipped with power front disc brakes, power steering, premium wheels, an upgraded sound system and so much more.
This 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner is truly immaculate in person and it performs true to it’s heritage after a complete restoration back in the early 2000’s.
Highly Desirable 440 V-8 Six Pack & 4-Speed Manual
The current owner of this 1969 Plymouth Road Runner Hardtop has enjoyed it since 2005 and he informs us that this example started life as a 383 V-8. It was completely restored and upgraded to the current 440 V-8 configuration along with fresh paint, a smoothed body, refreshed chrome and a fully restored interior. The entire drivetrain, suspension and underbody were restored at that time as well and the current owner has been meticulous at maintaining this gorgeous example.
In terms of present condition, this 1969 Plymouth Road Runner Hardtop looks fantastic in person with gleaming body lines showing perfect alignment. The chrome, paint and trim are also excellent with only minimal imperfection, and this example really stands out in person with serious curb appeal. Likewise, the interior is simply immaculate throughout with beautiful seating, additional gauges and a Hurst shifter. He engine bay also looks factory correct for a 440 six-barrel V-8 and the attention to detail is simply stunning- you won’t find a more pristine example anywhere.
