The next amazing classic up for grabs in our Fairfield showroom is this 1966 Volkswagen Baja Beetle 2 Door Sedan with Daytona Blue exterior paint and a cream vinyl interior.  You’ll find a 1785cc four-cylinder engine  with an Eagle 90 cam, a full circle crank, 10:1 compression, an electronic ignition, new pro shocks and a four-speed manual transmission w/ a new pressure plate & throw-out bearing.  This impressive Baja Beetle has also been very nicely sorted throughout with rebuilt brakes, new wiring & fuse box, Dynamat sound proofing, reupholstered seats, a glove-box mounted stereo and so much more.
With countless other restoration aspects, this 1966 Volkswagen Baja Beetle is one of the most impressive examples you’ll find anywhere at the current asking price.
Incredible Frame-On Build Started in 2014
The current owner informs us that this 1966 Volkswagen Beetle took possession back in 2016 shortly after it was completely stripped down to the chassis and rebuilt from the ground up.  From paint, weather stripping, front/rear cages and chrome molding to new carpeting and dynamat-soundproofing, every inch of this classic was restored to the highest possible levels while maintaining its Baja look and feel.  The entire drivetrain and all the major mechanicals were restored at that time as well.
This 1966 Volkswagen Beetle has been driven and sorted out since the time of the build and still shows nicely in person.  The exterior paint does show average signs of wear from a classic that’s been driven and enjoyed, but the body is still in nice shape and the engine bay is one of the cleanest you’ll find.  Meanwhile, the interior is in excellent overall condition and we have extensive documentation on the entire build.
A Fully Documented, Eye Catching High-End Driver
Overall, this 1966 Volkswagen Beetle 2 Door Sedan is a gorgeous high-end driver with tremendous performance and very nice curb appeal as well.  You must see this one in person to truly appreciate the overall build quality and excellent performance.  For more information about this vehicle, visit our Fairfield, California showroom, give us a call at 707-419-8200, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com.  Be sure to mention Stock # F13460 as well.
