The 1959 Cadillac Series 62 may just be the peak of its design excellence with its 42-inch tail fins and luxurious interior. Powered by a 390-cubic inch V8 engine producing 325hp and 430 ft-lbs of torque, this engine package had the grunt to push this heavy Caddy smoothly down the road. Standard equipment included a heater, fog lamps, air-assisted suspension, a radio with a rear speaker, power windows, a six-way power front seat, power door locks and whitewall tires. Today, all '59 Cadillacs are considered emblems of their era, with styling and luxury that will never be replicated.
