At the front of those digs, a polished bumper frames an early Action Line grille, which centers a bright bowtie, modern headlights and clear parking lamps beneath an early Action Line hood. Behind that grille, a clean profile hangs polished door handles and trick mirrors between a polished fuel cap, clean marker lamps and fresh MAR-K trim. At the top of that profile, tinted glass rides between polished wipers and a rich wood bed. Naturally, this Chevy's tastefully upgraded power precedes tastefully upgraded athleticism. Behind that modern V8, a smooth 4L60E 4-speed automatic spins torque to a tough 12-bolt axle. Power-assisted steering makes parking easy and turns a cinch. Stops are provided by red, power-assisted calipers, which squeeze a combination of drilled, slotted and vented rotors. Everything rides a rebuilt factory suspension that's been finished with a Classic Performance Products 3/5 Lowering Kit. Throaty Flowmaster mufflers join an H-shaped crossover to create an excellent soundtrack. And power meets the pavement through staggered Billet Specialties Speedway wheels, which twist 245/50R20 Delinte Desert Storm II tires in front of 295/40ZR20s out back.
