Chevrolet C10 Pickup Truck 1968

General description : The beneficiary of a comprehensive, ground-up restoration, this awesome C10 wraps reliable LS power and a smooth 4-speed transmission in an upgraded chassis and handsome aesthetics. And if you're in the market for some standout Americana, it's a perfect candidate for your next street rod!
THE BEST C10
A solid classic that's been treated to a detailed, ground-up restoration, this traditionalistic Chevy wears a silky and charmingly modern combination of brilliant silver and bright white 2-stage paint. At the front of those digs, a polished bumper frames an early Action Line grille, which centers a bright bowtie, modern headlights and clear parking lamps beneath an early Action Line hood. Behind that grille, a clean profile hangs polished door handles and trick mirrors between a polished fuel cap, clean marker lamps and fresh MAR-K trim. At the top of that profile, tinted glass rides between polished wipers and a rich wood bed. And at the back of the truck, a second polished bumper frames factory taillights and a 'CHEVROLET' branded tailgate.
PROVEN POWER
Check this Chevy's clean engine bay and you'll find 5.3 liters of stalwart GM small block! At the top of that aluminum mill, a remote filter element feeds a contoured air tube, which funnels wind in to a proven FiTech throttle body that fronts quality FiTech fuel injection. Combustion is sparked under lightweight aluminum heads, which sport stylish, 'Chevrolet' branded valve covers. That smooth valvetrain funnels spent gases through stainless Speedtech Performance headers. There's a proven Champion radiator that's slid in front of dual electric puller fans. Holley serpentine components spin an aluminum water pump beside a modern alternator. And, as you likely deduced from our high-resolution photos, the well-mannered engine wears appropriate Chevrolet Orange skin that's complemented with niceties like quality MSD plug wires and fresh Classic Performance Products brake components.
LOWERED LIFE
Naturally, this Chevy's tastefully upgraded power precedes tastefully upgraded athleticism. Behind that modern V8, a smooth 4L60E 4-speed automatic spins torque to a tough 12-bolt axle. Power-assisted steering makes parking easy and turns a cinch. Stops are provided by red, power-assisted calipers, which squeeze a combination of drilled, slotted and vented rotors. Everything rides a rebuilt factory suspension that's been finished with a Classic Performance Products 3/5 Lowering Kit. Throaty Flowmaster mufflers join an H-shaped crossover to create an excellent soundtrack. And power meets the pavement through staggered Billet Specialties Speedway wheels, which twist 245/50R20 Delinte Desert Storm II tires in front of 295/40ZR20s out back.
EXTRA POLISH
When you pop this pickup's doors, you'll find a comfortable cockpit that mixes thoroughly modern form with plenty of traditional charm. Front and center, a padded and painted dash fashions color-keyed trim around direct-fit, Bluetooth audio and fully rebuilt telemetry that's augmented with a Sunpro Super Tach. Opposite that ledge, a custom leather bench wraps stylish stitching around an integrated console. A polished steering wheel laps a modern, tilting column. And detailing is on point, with billet handles fronting custom door panels, clean carpet framing subtle kick speakers and full shoulder belts greatly increasing safety.
The classic truck market has never been better, and offerings like this cool C10 are a perfect testament why. With a reliable, well-dressed drivetrain, a striking interior and eternally attractive lines, this Chevy simply oozes cool. Call, click or visit https://www.RKMotors.com for more information!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
