This coupe was born a Dark Metallic Green car, but that's only the beginning of the story. It was given a full respray in 2010 as part of a comprehensive investment, and this Nova has been treated with respect ever since. Keen eyes will notice this has the cleaner front end of the '72 cars, and the rear was updated to match. Plus, there are nice aggressive upgrades like the cowl induction hood, race-style gas cap, and polished 15-inch torque thrust-style wheels.
Inside the factory-correct green interior looks nice, especially with the correct green fabric inserts for extra comfort. With the door panels, dash, carpeting, and even the trunk all finished nicely in coordinating hues, this is a unique green machine inside and out. This has nice original features like a speedometer as long as the horizon and provisions for factory air conditioning. But there are also plenty of room for upgrades. You get an AM/FM/CD/XM radio with an upgraded subwoofer stereo system. Plus, there's a sports steering wheel, auxiliary gauge trio, and large SunPro tach. While that will give you a nice performance feeling, your favorite piece will definitely be the Don "Big Daddy" Garlits autograph on the glovebox.
Under the hood is the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8. Just like the rest of this car, they have the original pieces treated them to some nice upgrades. So the original V8 looks great with the bold block paint, bright air topper, and flame-etched valve covers. It inhales deeply with the upgraded Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. The long tube headers add even more power as it also allows it to exhale with authority from the dual exhaust. This powerful package is done right with the three-speed automatic transmission even being rebuilt in 2008. And when all you want to do is cruise, this Nova obliges with power steering and power brakes.
