År 1934 gjordes ett försök att höja DeSoto genom att införa Chryslers strömlinjeformade luftflödesorgan på kortare DeSoto chassit. Detta skapade en initial försäljning flopp, men gjorde en intressant samlar bil
Efter en period av låg försäljning varumärket upphörde slutligen under 1961.
