This was also one of the final years you could roll-down all the windows for a true pillarless hardtop profile. And just to make sure you can enjoy this to the fullest, the factory air conditioning has been converted to modern R134a (will need servicing to blow cold).
Ford's robust 351 cubic-inch V8 provides plenty of power for the big coupe. Crisply detailed in Ford Blue, it appears quite stock. That means it's still ready to provide that effortless torque at any speed that defined driving a 1970s American V8. It also floats down the road like a good 70s machine should, and with a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes with front discs, this Galaxie 500 is a breeze to drive.
