We might only let you buy this 1960 Ford Starliner if you can prove to us that you have room in your trophy case. We won't even pretend like there is another paintjob like this out there. You're looking at truly rolling artistry as DuPont's Copper Cranberry was used to grab your attention and Yellow Pearl will never letting you go. These two are beautifully coordinated to accentuate the bubble top silhouette of the rare Starliner hardtop. And there is much more color here than just these to glossy modern paints. The two-tones are separated by a custom black and silver air brushed graphic – yes that right – a two-tone separating a two-tone! And if that didn't set your heart on fire, the custom flames on the hood will. And because a fortune was invested in all this glossy paint, there's no way chrome could outshine it. That's why places for tradition brightwork, like the bumpers, headlight surrounds, and grille are all painted to match the car. It gives this coupe a very modern and sporty flavor. That spirit is continued on custom details like the lowered suspension, molded drip rails, shaved door handles, hood scoop, and Billet alloys that are staggered 18/20 inches front/rear for added aggression. This might have started out life as a full-sized family coupe, but today there is only room for two. The rest of the space is filled with custom-crafted components. Plus, the interior and exterior are seamlessly combined as the doorjambs color flow right onto the dash. Even the dual spoke steering wheel follows this custom color scheme, so you know another small fortune was spent here... and we haven't even listed all the components! For example, the Hurst shifter and the glow of the full Dakota Digital gauge package will instantly get your enthusiast heart pumping. And if you need any extra thumping, the full Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo can get it done. That's because you have a JBL speaker system that has been custom installed behind the front seats. And thanks to power windows, it's even easier to share your favorite tunes and the Starliner's pillarless hardtop profile with the world.
And while you've already been impressed with this full package, this one reminds you there are still more surprises as its custom-built hood slides forward to reveal the monster motor. That's a 460 cubic-inch Ford big block V8, and it looks terrific with the valve covers, radiator shroud, and the whole engine bay painted to perfectly match the car. Plus, this V8 has all the right components for reliable performance, including a Holley 850 CFM four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan. And you might want to think for a moment why you can see those ceramic-coated headers better than any other classic Galaxie/Starliner before it.
