Meticulously planned throughout, this 1969 Plymouth Road Runner Resto-Mod is just the ride for that lucky driver who knows exactly what they want – sheer, unadulterated extreme power inside a well-executed, no holds barred statement-making presentation. Exhilarating, and not for the faint of heart, it's all about sheer impact in both performance and looks.
Eye-catching from every angle, this Road Runner sports a fresh paint job that's sure to inspire admiring double takes. Glossy black paint wraps around the lower portion of the car, giving it a dangerous look and the appearance of speed even when standing still, before giving way to metallic silver that runs fore and aft - over the top – from scooped hood to deck lid. Lime green and orange pinstripes highlight this transition in a powerful, but tasteful way. TSW wheels accent the color scheme perfectly. The silver hood scoop features HEMI lettering that provides an intro to what's underneath the hood. Appropriately, the moniker "Bad Bird" adorns the rear of the car below the deck lid and just above the black rear bumper. Under the hood, the 528 Hemi is topped off by a Holley 4 barrel and puts out 695hp! Nope, not a typo! The 727 B&M shifter gives you smooth control of all this power as you shift through the 3 speed auto transmission. Dual electric fans and an aluminum Be Cool Radiator combine to keep running temperature under control in all situations. Painless Wiring will dependably route electricity to its destination and a heavy alternator ensures there's plenty of juice to go around. Safe stopping power is often an area where muscle cars fall short, but this one has you covered, with power disc brakes all the way around, backed up by an electric vacuum pump standing guard to make sure that power is always there. Power steering makes maneuverability easy and, in a nod to both comfort and performance, the Ridetech Shockwave suspension affords push-button control of ride adjustment and height - something just not possible with traditional coilover suspension.
