The Firebird was introduced the same year as the automaker's platform-sharing model, the Chevrolet Camaro. The power plant for this 67 Firebird convertible is a 326 CID (5.3L) V8 that is linked to a three speed manual transmission. The exterior paint color is a rich and glossy Mariner Turquoise that is also complimented very nicely by the Mariner Turquoise interior. Matching interior and exterior colors was a very popular choice for first generation one Firebird and Camaro buyers and enthusiasts and this color combination on this 67 Firebird is capped off nicely with the white convertible top. The first generation Firebird and Camaro body styles have truly stood the test of time thanks to their very similar coke bottle body shaping and have actually reemerged on the fifth generation Camaros. Unlike their platform sharing cousin the Camaro the Firebird body style integrated the front bumper into the body and the tail lights were inspired from those of the Pontiac GTO.
