About the Porsche Carrera 2.7 MFI: The soul of the legendary Porsche 2.7 RS lives on within the Porsche Carrera 2.7 MFI. This car used a mechanical fuel injection producing 210hp. The weight of the car is only 1075kg making this car go 0-100km/h in 5.5 seconds. The total production is about 1600 cars between 1974-1976. Exterior: The 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera MFI for sale here was repainted 10 years ago and looks still stunning. The reason could be that the car has hardly been used since it was completed. The Fuchs wheels 7″ front and 8″ in the back are still untouched and original. The real kicker with this car is the aubergine colour! It looks amazing and suits the car very well. It looks very different depending on the light as you can see on the pictures. All rubber and glass details are perfect. Original sunroof and Swedish cars where with ducktail.
Interior: Our 1974 G series Porsche 911 Carrera is still wearing the original carpet. Factory sport seats and the rest of the interior is in very good original condition. Beautiful instruments that deliver correct information. Very clean in the luggage compartment up front and with a new carpet set.
Engine: As you can see on the pictures this classic Porsche has a very nice and clean engine bay. It had an oil change November 2020 and new spark plugs where fitted. It starts immediately and has a wonderful sound from the Dansk exhaust system. This is with Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection.
History: This spectacular Porsche G model Carrera for sale comes with full owners’ history. It was sold new here in Sweden on the 19th of November 1973. And there have been six owners from new. The present owner had the Carrera for 18 years and did all the restoration work to it. The classic Porsche Carrera comes with a thick binder of collected receipts over the years. It is a matching numbers car in the rare Porsche colour 25 (Aubergine). It is a very early European 911 Carrera that was always in Sweden.
