Volkswagen Bubbla Typ1 2332 cc 1964

Allmän beskrivning : 1964 Volkswagen Beetle Custom This 64 Volkswagen is an absolutely beautiful example of one of these cars.  It is easily one of the nicest we have ever seen and we don't make statements like that often.  It may be labeled as a VW but you almost have to look at it as more of a custom show car.  If you are looking for a run of the mill Beetle then this may not be the car for you.  However, if a top of the line, better then new Beetle that guarantees trophies is on your list then you just found it.  It went through a full body off build process and has less than 100 miles since being completed.  The paint is absolutely beautiful and was completed by Jacks Paint Place in Converse, TX.  The Black Cherry Pearl really comes to life out in the sun and suits the car well.  The custom Stockton wheels are painted to match and feature chrome hubcaps.  All of the stainless trim is in excellent condition with a nice shine.  You really aren't going to find a weak area anywhere on this car.  We can't emphasize enough how well built this bug is.  The 2332cc motor was built by Harmon Racing out of Irving, TX and runs extremely well.  The car is surprisingly quick and sounds great.  Check out the list below to see all the internals of the motor.  84mm SCAT forged type 4 main journal crank with center main trust setup and 2 inch rod journals SCAT billet flanged flywheel with street/strip clutch disc to a Kennedy Stage 2 pressure plate SCAT rods and 94mm Wiseco pistons 30mm full flow oil pump with billet 2 piece oil filter mounted on a JayCee billet oil filter bracket Gene Berg pulley, linkage, 3.5 quart low profile oil sump and intake manifolds 48mm throttle body heads are CNC ported CB Performance 44x38 valves with 1.4 rockers 3/8 inch chromoly pushrods in JayCee 2 piece pushrod tubes Empi valve covers with chromoly head studs Dog house fan shroud with a welded and balanced fan Black powder coated alternator All stainless steel plumbing and fittings for oil/fuel lines Stainless steel 1 3/4 inch exhaust and polished SS muffler External oil cooler and fan set up Multiple spark discharge MSD 6-AL box and MSD coil Haltech Engine Control Unit brain and wiring for electronic fuel injection system Every piece of this car was professionally done and it shows.  The EFI system was installed by Alamo Auto Sports in Arlington, TX and the transaxle built by The Bug Stop in Arlington.  It has a Gene Berg 12 inch shifter with 40% reduced throw and moves through the gears perfectly.  The front and rear disc brakes are from Empi and utilize stainless steel braided lines throughout.  The suspension features KYB shocks and an Arkewld ultimate adjustable front beam for a nice smooth ride down the road.    Most VW interiors are pretty plain and most of the time look the same.  This car however is totally unique.  If we showed you pictures of just the interior most people would think they are looking inside of a high end street rod.  Prior to being done the interior cabin was coated with Lizard skin spray for heat and sound control.  It was then finished out by Classic Customs in Converse, TX with Beige faux leather which covers the seats and door panels.  It is very comfortable and easily one of the nicest VW interiors you will ever see.  The dash was painted to match the body and is topped off with Black VDO gauges and an Alpine stereo system.  It doesn't stop there though because the trunk was finished out just as nicely with matching upholstery.  It houses an Alpine amp and even the gas tank was painted to match the body.  The level of detail on this car is top of the line and puts it up on the level of any custom show car out there.  You couldn't build this custom for our reduced asking price of $29,250.00 $26,250.00! Over $34K was invested in parts alone, not including labor.
