Who would not get enthusiastic about an Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior? Driving this lovely little Italian is a veritable feast. Even 50 years after the Alfa Romeo GT 1300 became part of the traffic scene it is still insanely popular. The fact that besides being a very user friendly car, it has fantastic handling adds to its lasting popularity. Until 2016 out Alfa Romeo GT 1300 was regularly used in the beautiful and especially warm Sicily. The car appears to have been brought over here straight from the island. The Sicilian insurance sticker as well as the that of the garage that maintained the car, are still in situ. The car is very original. The steel wheels and original chrome hubcaps give the car a sympathetic look. All over the world the Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior is a very desirable classic car. By and large they are maintained to the hilt and very much loved. Our car is no different. The bodywork is in a good authentic condition with nice and thin, correctly aligned body panels. Even the original welding points are still there! Inspection of the sills and spare tyre space in the boot show no rust or accident damage what so ever. The interior has been similarly very well cared for. The original headliner is in good condition. The seats have been re-upholstered and the original carpets are still in good condition. The dashboard, without radio cutout, continues the fine original theme. Mechanically speaking this car is in very good order. The engine is outstanding and the gearbox shifts perfectly. Suspension and brakes are also in very good condition. This Alfa not only looks the part, it is also such a perfectly authentic example. This is the ultimate car for the person who loves to drive instead of tinkering underneath the bonnet and one who knows how to appreciate authenticity.
