We have acquired a particularly fine Alfa Romeo Alfetta GT 1600. Supplied from new by the Italian Varese based Alfa Romeo Cascone on the 28th February 1978. This is a series 1 version with chrome bumpers and split rear lights. It was exported to the Netherlands in 2010 with 15,968 km on the clock. Currently the clock reads 21,810 km and is absolutely in pristine condition. You would be forgiven in thinking that it had just left the factory. For the last nine years, the car has been owned by an Alfa Romeo enthusiast, an Alfist and kept in great condition as the various invoices confirm. This Alfa has never been restored and still has fantastic bodywork. The straight body panels fit together perfectly. A while ago it was given a professional re-spray in the original colour. The engine bay and boot space are untouched. Like the rest of the car the chrome decorative elements are as good as new. The original underbody is totally rust-free, which is amazing in its self. The interior trim, including the roof lining, carpets and dashboard, is entirely original. It even stills has the original odour that comes with great maintenance. Naturally the car has its original, matching numbers, 1600, twin Weber engine. The original paperwork is also still present, including the car wallet containing the service book, owner’s manual, the dealer guidebook, completed service documents, the sales brochure as well as a set of spare keys. It also has a Autovox radio cassette with anti-theft device, rear windscreen heating and alloy rims. We have never seen such a wonderfully well preserved and presented, low-mileage Alfetta!
