Im Frühjahr des Jahres 1966 wurde der Alfa Romeo Spider der Serie 105 vorgestellt. Die Meinung war zunächst gespalten, da er sich optisch völlig vom Vorgänger unterschied. Die Mitarbeiter im Werk nannten ihn “ Osso di Sepia “ ( Tintenfischknochen ).Zu seinem Durchbruch half auch der Film “ Die Reifeprüfung “ mit Dustin Hofman. Die offizielle Namensgebung wurde in einem Preisausschreiben ermittelt und lautete einfach “ Duetto “ für Zweisitzer.Die Erstauslieferung dieses Exemplars erfolgte noch im Erscheinungsjahr in Beverly Hills. Im Jahr 2014 wurde der Wagen importiert und in Deutschland restauriert.Die Restaurierung dieses Fahrzeugs wurde im Sommer 2016 in der Farbe “ AR 716 Grigio Graphite“ mit der traumhaft schönen bordeaux-farbenen Innenausstattung in typisch italienischem Stepp-Design fertiggestellt. Die Arbeiten sind sehr gut fotodokumentiert. Das Classic-Data Gutachten bescheinigte ihm nach Restaurierung den Zustand “ 1 „. Der Zustand ist nach wie vor unverändert gut.Die zu dieser Zeit noch verbauten und im Gutachten erwähnten Zubehörteile haben wir wieder gegen die Originalteile ersetzt, so dass sich das Fahrzeug nun wieder in einem sehr originalem Zustand befindet.Nach der Restaurierung und Begutachtung haben wir den Wegstreckenzähler “ genullt „.
