Deze Alfa Romeo Spider is een zeer fraai exemplaar uit de Coda Tronca serie, waaraan in het verleden zeer veel professionele restauratiewerkzaamheden zijn verricht. Volgens de Direzione Prodotto van Alfa Romeo is deze Alfa Romeo Spider 2000 Coda Tronca op 16 Oktober 1980 geproduceerd en vervolgens in Duitsland verkocht (officiële brief van Alfa Romeo aanwezig). De auto is in 1992 in Nederland geïmporteerd, en daarna volledig gerestaureerd. Waar nodig zijn plaatwerkdelen vervangen of gerepareerd. Vervolgens is de auto professioneel geheel overgespoten in de originele kleur Marrone Metallizzato. Tijdens de restauratie is zowel de motor als versnellingsbak en het differentieel gereviseerd. De motor is voorzien van twee dubbele Dell 'Orto carburateurs. De motor loopt goed en het motorcompartiment is zeer verzorgd. De cabrioletkap werd vervangen en verkeert nog steeds in zeer goede staat. Tevens is er een tonneau cover aanwezig. In 2013 werden de stoelen opnieuw bekleed met bruin leder, het geheel verkeert in een originele en zeer goede staat. Facturen zijn aanwezig. Deze Alfa Romeo Spider is sinds dat hij geïmporteerd is van 1 eigenaar geweest. Het is overduidelijk dat het hier gaat om een liefhebber.
