1970 Aston Martin DB6 Mark 2 (RHD)
The DB6 was first announced at the London Motor show in 1965. Following on from the heritage of the DB4, it was styled by Carrozzeria Touring in the Superleggera tradition. Following on from the success of the Mark I, the Mark II was announced on the 21st August 1969. With flared wheel arches and wider wheels and power steering, remodelled seats with head restraints gave the car a distinctive look. The newly designed DB6 featured dramatic styling with covered headlights from the DB4 series V and a Kamm tail spoiler, which stands out from its older siblings.
This example is without doubt one of the finest and most beautiful DB6 Mark II cars available. It is finished in Black Pearl metallic with St James Red hide and finished off with Charcoal Wilton carpets. The car sits on new chrome wire wheels which ooze class. With only 3 registered owners from new, and a comprehensive history file containing invoices, receipts and MOT certificates dating from 1973 up to date. This is an extremely special car and will simply not disappoint upon viewing.
