General description :
Der Bentley S1 DHC wurde gerade nach einer "frame-off"-Restauration fertiggestellt. Der Wagen wurde zerlegt, der Rahmen sachgemäß verzinkt und lackiert. Die Karosserie wurde vollständig als Cabrioversion überarbeitet und neu lackiert. Der gesamte Antriebsstrang wurde überholt, der originale Motor hat selbstverständlich neue Laufbuchsen und Kolbenringe erhalten. Nur bestes Holz und edelstes Leder wurden für das Interieur verwendet, der Bentley SI Continental DHC präsentiert sich daher im neuwertigen Zustand. Natürlich hat das Fahrzeug eine Oldtimerabnahme nach §23 und wird mit neuem TÜV ausgeliefert. Der Bentley Continental SI galt zu seiner Zeit als das exclusivste Fahrzeug auf den Strassen, an Luxus und Komfort kaum zu überbieten.
english version: The Bentley Continental S1 DHC was just completed after a "frame -off" restoration. The car was disassembled , the frame properly galvanized and painted. The body was completely redesigned as a convertible version and repainted. The engine is overhauled and get new liners and piston rings. Only the best wood and leather were used for the interior, the Bentley Continental SI DHC is finished in perfect condition. The Bentley Continental SI was in his time the most exclusive vehicles on the roads, luxury and comfort was the best.

About Bentley
Before becoming a mere subsidiary to Rolls-Royce, Bentley was an independent Automaker famous for the "fastest lorries in the world" e.i Bentley 4½ Litre.Good ol' Bentley boys (A group of wealthy British motorists, mainly Woolf Barnato, Sir Henry "Tim" Birkin, steeplechaser George Duller, aviator Glen Kidston, S.C.H. "Sammy" Davis, and Dr Dudley Benjafield ) -in their trusty Bentley cars- took four consecutive victories at 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1924, 1927, 1928, 1929, 1930
In 1931 Bentley was taken over British Central Equitable Trust that later proved to be a front for Rolls-Royce Limited. Unhappy with his role at Rolls-Royce, W.O. Bentley left the company when his contract expired in 1935 duly joining Lagonda. This was beginning of which ultimately led Bentley cars to become more or less badge-engineered Rolls-Royce.
