Te koop BMW 1502, 4 bak met Duits kenteken en H zulassung. Vanaf 1981 in het bezit van de laatste eigenaar, de conditie en staat van de auto straalt er dan ook vanaf. De BMW 02-reeks was de middenklasse wagen van BMW van 1966 tot 1977. De reeks werd afgeleid van de BMW nieuwe klasse, maar had twee in plaats van vier deuren. De eerste wagen van de 02-reeks die aangedreven werd door de BMW M10 viercilindermotor kreeg de naam 1600-2 (Typ 114) om aan te geven dat het hier een tweedeurs betrof en niet de 1600 vierdeurs. Bij de type-aanduiding van de 02-reeks slaan de eerste twee cijfers op de cilinderinhoud, behalve bij de latere 1502 die ook een 1573 cc motor had. In 1968 werd de 2002 (E10) geïntroduceerd met een 1990 cc motor en werden de 1600 en 2002 voortaan ook als (vol)cabriolet aangeboden. Tot 1971 waren de 1600 en 2002 ook in een ti versie verkrijgbaar met een dubbele solex carburateur met respectievelijk 100 en 120 pk. Als optie kon gekozen worden voor het alpina pakket waarmee nog meer pk's geleverd werden. Vanaf 1971 was er een kleine facelift en werd de naam 1600-2 gewijzigd in 1602. De 1802 (Typ 114) met een motorinhoud van 1766 cc werd geïntroduceerd en de 2002tii met mechanische inspuiting en een motorvermogen van 130 pk kwam ter vervanging van de 2002ti. De facelift in 1971 was tevens de start van de Touring (E6), deze variant had een derde deur, eigenlijk een enorme achterklep. In augustus 1973 was er een grote restyling van de 02-reeks. Er kwam een andere neus met een plastic grill en een andere achterkant met vierkante achterlichten. De cabrio werd ook aangepast en was nu alleen met rolbeugel te verkrijgen: de 2002 baur cabrio. In 1974 kwam BMW met de 2002 turbo (E20) met mechanische injectie en turbocompressor met een motorvermogen van 170pk. Dit was de eerste Europese in serie geproduceerde wagen met een turbo, twee jaar voor de Porsche 930 turbo. De 2002 turbo was te krijgen in zilver en wit (en één auto is afgeleverd in de kleur zwart). Door de oliecrisis werd het benzineverbruik erg bekritiseerd en het seriemodel werd een flop met slechts 1672 geproduceerde exemplaren. In de racerij sloeg het idee van de turbomotor echter wel aan: BMW is met de turbomotor, gebaseerd op het M10 onderblok, zelfs wereldkampioen Formule 1 geworden. In 1975 werd de 02-reeks opgevolgd door de BMW E21 maar het instapmodel 1502 werd nog tot 1977 geproduceerd. Bedrijfsinformatie: Prijswijzigingen, druk- en zetfouten voorbehouden.
