Om bijna emotioneel van te worden wat ik bijna iedere dag horen in onze showroom. . Hadden we die nog maar nooit weg gedaan. Daar had je nooit wat mee. Dat is wel wat anders dan de huidige generatie met foutcodes en multi computers. Laat je terug voeren naar de negentiger jaren toen auto's nog echt auto's waren en aanzienlijk eenvoudiger werden uitgedost qua elektronica. Een prachtig voorbeeld hiervan is deze BMW Z3 2.8 uit 1997. Een rijdersauto pur sang met een potente motor, achterwielaandrijving en een relatief laag totaal gewicht. Deze auto kwam in liefhebbers handen terecht, in de daarop volgende jaren werd er enkel hobbymatig en onder gunstige omstandigheden met de BMW gereden. en op het moment van spreken staan er slechts 113000 kilometers op de klok! De kwaliteit en conditie van de auto komen volledig overeen met deze uitzonderlijk lage stand. De carrosserie is uitgevoerd in keurig Bostongrun groenmetallic verkeert in een uiterst strakke staat met nauwelijks sporen van leeftijd en gebruik. Aan de binnenzijde werd het interieur bekleed in fraai beige leder gecombineerd met een bescheiden hoeveelheid houtinleg op het dashboard, een combinatie die we tegenwoordig nauwelijks nog zien. Het rijden met de auto is een heerlijke bezigheid en de pittige 2800 motor loopt subliem. De aandrijflijn voelt zeer strak aan en het schakelen gaat soepel. De originele handleidingen en boekjes zijn bij de auto aanwezig. Als extra voorzien van een windvanger en fraaie lichtmetalen wielen.
