Cadillac Coupe de Ville 4.9 V8 1992

General description : 1992 Cadillac Coupe DeVille The DeVille name was initially introduced as a trim level but later became a completely separate model offered by Cadillac.  The first generation started in 1959 and production spanned until 2006 when it was replaced by the DTS which referenced to the DeVille Touring Sedan package back in the 80's.  So although the DeVille name is no longer applied to modern Cadillacs, its roots are still there and live on.  These cars have forever been associated with combining luxury, performance, and all of the latest technology available.  This 1992 Cadillac Coupe DeVille fits right in with that theme and is a 2 owner car with 26,500 original miles.  It has been very well cared for since new and never misses a tune up or needed repair.  It is painted in a nice White paint with a special ordered Blue carriage roof that is a pretty rare feature.  On first glance you would swear it was a convertible because they even put in the snaps and the bows like the bends on a convertible top.  The paint and top are both in excellent condition.  All of the chrome and stainless trim look good with no pitting or issues.  The car rides on a set of original style wheels with spoke hubcaps.  One very cool feature is the custom continental kit built for the car.  It is not in place currently but the original owner had a continental kit created to mount on the back.  It does not contain a real tire but does have that appearance with the same hubcap and Blue cloth covering.   Getting this car rolling is the original 4.9 V8 motor that runs great.  Since 2019 the car has received an AC conversion to R134, new brake pads/lines, new heater/radiator hoses, a new battery, and new front struts.  The new AC system blows cold and has no problem cooling you off even on the hottest Texas summer days.  The car has basically been all gone through and anything needed attention was addressed.  The transmission is an automatic that shifts smoothly.  It has all power options and is a very smooth car to drive.  The interior is done in all Blue leather to match the top.  The upholstery work is in excellent condition throughout.  The dash features all of its original faux wood trim which is in good shape as well and all of the digital gauges and information center. This smooth running Caddy has a great look and a long life ahead of it.  It comes with the original manual, some receipts of work done and of course that unique continental kit. About Cadillac Coupe de Ville
The Coupe de Ville was a luxury car model produced by Cadillac from 1949 to 1993. The name "Coupe de Ville" (French for "town coupe") originally referred to a two-door, closed-body style with a fixed roof and a full-length dashboard.

The Coupe de Ville was known for its luxurious features, powerful engines, and elegant styling. Throughout its production run, the car underwent several redesigns and updates, with notable changes including the adoption of fins in the 1950s and the introduction of front-wheel drive in the 1980s.
