Cadillac Eldorado 4.5L V8 1989

General description : 1989 Cadillac Eldorado When you realize that the word Eldorado is translated from Spanish as "the gilded or golden one" there is no question why it was applied to 12 generations of Cadillac spanning all the way back to 1952. Cadillac was known for luxury and these high end automobiles incorporated all the latest and greatest of their time.  No only were they high tech luxury cars but they drove like them as well, smoothly gliding down the road.  They had significantly downsized and abandoned their fins by the 9th generation, which this 89 belongs to, but they still contained the same level of high end luxury.  This 89 is a very clean car that not only has been well cared for but also just was gone through and refreshed to insure it is able to cruise the streets for many years to come.  It is done in a Black on Black combination that suits the body style perfectly.  The paint on it is very clean and still wears it's original stainless trim, Gold pinstriping, and Gold emblems.  This one even wears the unique "Cadillac Motor Division Heritage of Ownership" medallion on its grill and although they are fading came with 2 sets of Gold keys.  It is clear looking over this car that it has been very well cared for its entire life.  It rides on a set of the original wheels with spoke hubcaps and Cooper Trendsetter SE thin white wall tires which are new. You usually think luxury when it comes to Cadillac but the performance isn't forgotten either.  This car rolls down the road thanks to the original 4.5L V8 motor that runs great.  It was just gone through and received a new battery, alternator, pulley, and belts.  It also just had the fluid changed out and any other issues addressed.  The converted R134 AC system was recharged and blows cold.  It also had the brakes gone through to insure it needs nothing.  The really runs and drives like new.  The current owner has owned many Cadillac's over the years of this vintage and all of them are very high quality.    The interior of the car is done in a matching Black and very clean.  The upholstery looks good and there are no rips or tears.  The door panels, carpet, headliner, everything looks good.  The dash has all the original features and wears its original woodgrain accents all of which look good.  The gauges are all working properly with no issues.  On the center dash is the original Gold Series Delco Bose stereo which works well.  It even has its original Audiovox mobile phone mounted to the center console which is a pretty neat vintage feature to see in place.  In the trunk you will find plenty of storage space and the carpet is all clean as well.  This is a very clean classic Cadillac that has just had a lot invested to make it even nicer.  It needs nothing and is ready to go.
