Chevrolet 210 350 V8 1956

General description : PRICED TO MOVE TRI-5, STRONG 350 V8, 200R4, PWR FRNT DISCS/STEERING, DUALS!!

Nothing grabs your attention quite like a bright red Chevy! This 1956 Chevrolet 210 two-door coupe is flashy enough to appeal to the classic car crowd but tame enough to make it feasible as a more-than-occasional street machine.
Of course, appearance is the very first thing to draw you to any automobile. This car has the look of a solid driver-grade collector vehicle. The vibrant red finish is enough to make anybody take a second look. It isn't a show-quality paint job, but it rates a little above average and still shows quite well despite a few bumps and bruises acquired while it was being enjoyed through the years. This ride has so much potential and so many positive attributes, it would definitely be worth investing in a little paint and body work if need be, or it can be driven and enjoyed as-is. The bumpers and chrome trim are all accounted for and in remarkably presentable condition. No lack of shine here! And remember, a heavy dose of chrome was the order of the day back in the '50s. A nice set of low profile 17-inch radials mounted on Ridler custom wheels make a handsome combination that produces just enough of a lowered look to create a slightly aggressive stance.
Punctuating the interior is gray cloth upholstery with the Chevrolet "bowtie" incorporated into its design. The door panels are new, as is the black carpet. As you grip the classic wooden tilt steering wheel and glance underneath the dash, you'll find a nice three-gauge instrument cluster that augment the otherwise stock dash. Meanwhile you'll enjoy the retro sound of an in-dash radio as you relax in the comfort of R134a Vintage air conditioning.
Mounted securely to the floorboard, a B&M shifter allows quick and accurate gear-selection for the four-speed overdrive (200R4) automatic transmission. The automatic overdrive is, in itself, a huge upgrade. It's a major step toward improving both drivability and fuel economy. This shiny little "Shoebox" is powered by a potent 350 Chevy small block engine. Some motors are built for power and speed. Some are built for endurance. The 350 V8 was built for both. It would be hard to imagine a better choice of power for this machine. In addition to the ever-popular Edelbrock intake and Holley carb combination, this power plant packs an aftermarket street cam with enough lift and duration to produce that nice, audible lope that every performance buff loves to hear. Other add-ons include Accel electronic ignition, an aluminum radiator, ram horn exhaust manifolds, and an attractive set of finned aluminum valve covers. For added driving pleasure, power steering and power front disc brakes were installed. It's a sure bet that a lot of cash has been invested in the drive train.
It's red. It's racy. It's maybe even a little bit rowdy. But most importantly, it's really, really fun. This 1956 Chevrolet 210 is a very desirable ride. And it has the potential to be much, much more. All it needs is you to make it happen! Call today!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
