Chevrolet 210 350 V8 1955

General description : 1955 Chevrolet 210 WINNER OF BEST 1950’S MODIFIED AT THE DREAMBUILDERS CAR SHOW AT EVERGREEN SPEEDWAY ON JULY 1, 2018! You will find it hard to locate another ’55 in such great condition and so few miles on the chassis at just shy of 18,000. The car has been garaged since new and bought by the second owner in 1963, built out in the late 70’s after sitting for years and then parked again. He built out a 350ci engine at his speed shop and swapped out the original motor for this one and it has been in there since. We know from it’s history that there are less than 10,000 miles on the drive train after installation as well. It has a small under-the-hood chrome B&M blower with forced induction and dual air cleaners set to the side. Headers flow down to a dual exhaust that sounds amazing. It has chrome Moroso valve covers, chrome alternator and all new belts, hoses and wires. He left the original, and often sought after, Harrison radiator which cools the car great. This car is a true “sleeper” in every sense of the word! This is a completely rust-free Eastern Washington (originally purchased at the famous Curry Chevrolet in New York City in 1955) car that has been inside it’s entire existence. The exterior of the car is flawless and it sits nicely on the period correct 15 inch Billet wheels. The chrome is perfect as well. The car needed nothing outside except a good cleaning and a coat of wax as it had been stored properly. It fires up on the first turn and has that distinct rumble that only a blower can give a car. The interior is in amazing condition and set-up just as it came from the factory. Headliner and seats are in excellent condition and the painted dash is flawless. It has a full aftermarket gauge package circa the late 70’s when the car was “built out” and we just located a tachometer to match the overall look from that era. It has the original radio and power brakes that stop on a dime. The pictures speak volumes so we won’t over-describe this one! Call or e-mail with specific questions…you will not be disappointed and will not find another like it anywhere! The car runs, sounds and drives as good as it gets for a ’55, ’65 or 2005! This is a true time capsule that we are offering for the reduced price of $41,900.00 $36,900.00! This car is being represented for a collector in Seattle, Washington area.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
