General description : For sale in our Detroit showroom is this clean and attention-getting 1957 Chevrolet 210 two-door Sedan. With the sought-after look of Chevy’s popular design, but the added bonus of a back seat, you can cruise along with your friends and family, and look good doing it! These second-generation "Tri Five" Chevys are popular choices of collectors, as it is one of the most recognizable and sought-after American cars ever produced. The 210 was offered in many different styles, including a 2-door, 4-door, and even a station wagon. Starting with the massive front bumper covered in chrome, and following the trim to the rear of the car, are the wild tail fins that the cars of the 50's were known for! If you want to be the center of attention at shows and turn some heads out on the road, then this 210 is one of the best classics you can buy. With wild-looking fins that are only rivaled by the ’59 Cadillac, this Chevy will surely make you the envy of your neighborhood. Treated to a complete and professional body-on restoration with work completed in 2014, this Chevy looks just as great as it did the day it rolled off the line in 1957! Nothing was left unattended to, and the only thing this 210 Sedan needs is a new owner! Under the hood is a 1974 Chevy 350 cubic-inch V8 rebuilt and with many upgrades, backed by a 4-speed Muncie manual transmission and a rebuilt rear end with 4:11 gears. The exterior really looks amazing coated in PPG Poppy Yellow with 6 coats of clear and the top and trim painted in PPG White Pearl and has an amazing shine with all of the metal being new or re-chromed. The car has only been driven 5,000 miles since the restoration was completed, and is ready to impress! The inside of these tri-five Chevys is a sight to behold, and with the custom black leather interior which was installed in this 210 is a nice contrast to the exterior color, and one of the most beautiful dashes ever put in a car. Underneath, the suspension was replaced, and with new springs, shocks, front disc brakes, sway bars, and ball joints, this Chevrolet rides like a dream! Options on this car include: AM/FM radio, seat belts, leather interior, and Custom Foose wheels with Goodyear Eagle radial tires. The tri-five Chevys, which include the 55-57 model year cars, have a huge following and are great investment pieces which would fit right in with the most impressive of collections. If you’re looking for something with the classic 50’s styling, with the reliability of a recent restoration, then look no further! Located in our Detroit showroom, this ‘57 Chevy can be seen in greater detail, including HD photos and video, at http://www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call (313)-982-3100 for more information.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
