Chevrolet 210 1957

General description : Tri-five Chevys are some of the most recognized and beloved collector cars of all time. Their clean lines, tasteful trim and excellent proportions make for handsome rides with TONS of customizing potential. Not surprisingly, a wide array of these trademark classics populate shows around the country, and their builds range from correct, concours quality restorations all the way to wild creations which exceed the performance of some of today's fiercest muscle. Somewhere between perfected trailer queens and temperamental custom machines, you'll find cars like this sweet 210. Glazed in a sea of cool blue two-stage, and sporting a stylish leather interior, this hot, LS-powered resto-mod is an exceptional cruiser that's ready for years of show and go!
CUSTOM YET FAMILIAR FLAIR
Freshly painted in 2020, this clean post sedan is the product of acute restoration that's spent most of its time living the good life in a controlled climate. That new pigment is wrapped around timeless sheetmetal that's been garnished with select Bel Air brightwork. And the result is one striking classic that builds better-than-factory aesthetics into a crisp, head-turning profile!
As a collector car enthusiast, you really can't go wrong with any '50s Chevy. But for many folks, the division's '57 model essentially perfected the art. At the front of this five-seven, a polished grille hangs a bright Chevrolet crest and polished parking lamps between a broad bumper and stainless-trimmed headlights. At the top of that grille, a tall hood centers a classy 'Chevrolet' script between a Bel Air 'V', polished Spear Bullet Spoons and chip-free glass that's draped in polished frames and cleared by polished wipers. At the base of those frames, polished mirrors, a power antenna and traditional door handles complement a stainless-trimmed profile that's finished with Bel Air louvers, Bel Air Speed Spears and stylish Bel Air quarter scripts. And at the back of the car, a second broad bumper founds Bel Air reverse lamps under ornate taillights and stylish Bel Air trunk trim.
PROVEN LS POWER
Toss the hood and you'll find a reliable GM Generation III LS1 small block that makes miles of easy horsepower! At the top of that mill, a remote filter element feeds a factory throttle body, which is bolted to a proven GM intake. High octane fossils are provided by GM electronic fuel injection. Sparks are sequenced through familiar Denso plug wires. Spent gases get funneled through short GM manifolds. Cooling comes courtesy of SPAL electric puller fans and a beefy aluminum radiator, which rides a between a polished cap, an aftermarket support and a polished expansion tank. Factory serpentine components spin a modern compressor opposite a modern alternator. And, aesthetically, the car's color-keyed engine bay is clean and ready to roll, all the way from its factory oil pan to its requisite Corvette fuel rail covers.
FAR FROM VINTAGE
Under the car, solid, body-matched floors reflect a massaged chassis that's been thoughtfully upgraded with tubular control arms, relocated leaf springs and a big sway bar. The trusty LS1 powers a tough 4L60E 4-speed, which rides an aftermarket crossmember. That gearbox spins a familiar GM 10-bolt, which is finished with 2.73 gears, 28-spline axles and a fresh posi-traction differential that was installed by our own RKM Performance Center. Easy turns are funneled through power-assisted steering. Power-assisted calipers squeeze drilled and slotted rotors. Large-diameter exhaust floats spent gases through an X-shaped crossover and throaty Flowmaster mufflers. And all that premium hardware rolls on polished American Racing Torq Thrust IIs, which spin 225/50R17 Nitto NT450s in front of 275/50R17 Nitto NT450s.
CUSTOM COMFORT
Between the doors, stylish Dark Charcoal leather adds both substance and appeal. An ornate dash wraps attractive billet trim around digital, color-keyed telemetry and Old Air Products climate control. Plush bench seats wear custom covers. Tidy carpet centers a polished fire extinguisher between billet pedals, Bel Air-themed mats and custom side panels. A modern Kenwood head unit bumps beats through a quartet of Kenwood speakers. And in front of the driver, a tilting column spins a polished and half-wrapped wheel.
From the local show to the local strip, this fully sorted Chevy will impress fans and critics alike. It's a highly desirable tri-five that's been tweaked with all the right stuff to be a fun, head-turning cruiser. If you've been shopping for a cool classic that you can enjoy day in and day out, your search is officially over!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
