Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is excited to present This one-of-a-kind bad boy Resto-Rod of a 1955 Chevrolet! This is a complete frame-off build from the ground up. Finished in 2016 and driven 5900 Miles since, she is the complete package with over 600HP to throw you back into your seat, and win the car show. With a PPG base coat clear coat two-tone, of Rootbeer and Gold, two-stage paintwork, and some small body mods. Coilover front suspension, upgraded spindles, and power rack and pinion steering. Rear Billet 4-link coil-over suspension. Wilwood 14" four-piston front and rear brake system. Lots of power with a Kim Barr Racing Engines 396 CID V8 engine, rated at 630HP by them. Long Tube Headers with the full custom exhaust system and built 700R4 transmission to handle all the horsepower. In the rear is fabbed 9" positraction with 3.73 gears. To keep this bad boy cool, a Large radiator with dual electric fans was installed. Some of the exterior finishing touches include billet hood hinges, Under the hood is all chrome and stainless polished items. The new custom leather interior is beautiful, featuring 4 individual bucket seats in soft leather. with classic instrument white face gauges, Vintage Air system, front power windows, and a sound system with USB. This beauty is sitting on beautiful US Mags Chrome wheels with Front 245/18 and Rear 315/20 Nitto Invo tires. The owner states he has been to a whole bunch of shows where he was taken home best of show awards. He has provided pictures of his awards!
