Description : Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is very happy to offer this absolutely gorgeous 1955 Chevrolet 210. This Flame Red beauty was sold new by Davidson Motor Co. out of Lexington, N.C. on 04/08/1955 according to the original order form, and the ownership lineage is documented. (The original Owners Guide, Dealers Order Form & the Owners Service Policy will all be included with the purchase). This 210 is powered by a strong running 350CID Chevy small block that is running through the TH400 automatic transmission. The chromed Chevrolet valve covers, the Edelbrock "Performer RPM Q-Jet" intake, Hypertech distributor & coil, electric fan set up & an updated R134 A/C system are but a few of the improvements made under the hood. The suspension & bushings have all be replaced and front disc brakes & an oversized sway bar have been added up front to ensure a nice, tight ride. A newer exhaust system and fuel tank were also added. There are not many American classics on the road today that are as iconic as one of the "Tri-Fives", and this one is no exception! The bright shining chrome front and rear bumpers are very tastefully accented by the subtle, yet distinctive, chrome body-side trim pieces, rain rails, aluminum alloy wheels & the super cool "Eagle Airplane" hood ornament. If you don't want to be noticed or to stand out in a crowd, then this is definitely not the car for you! The interior seating areas and door panels are a a super soft button-tuck light gray velour, and is nicely contrasted by darker gray carpets and a nicely done darker gray paint on the dash, giving it a ton of eye appeal. It is also equipped with a retro fit AM/FM/ Cassette head unit and even has power windows and a chromed tilt steering column! The gray velour interior fabric carries all the way through to the trunk lid and into the trunk area itself. This is one of those classics that will never go out of style and if you have been looking for a "Tri-Five" to start off with or are just looking to add another to your collection, this one most certainly would fit the bill! Options include: A/C, AM/FM/Cassette, PS, PB, PW, Tilt, Radial Tires, Alloy Wheels.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
