This is the first year for the iconic Tri-Five Chevys, so it's important to get all the details right. That's why this drop top has its factory-correct Neptune Green and Sea Mist Green two-tone. This includes the fan-style gauge cluster and dual-cowl style dash that resembles the Corvettes of the era. Even the factory style AM radio is still cranking out tunes! This one is so authentic, you'll even be showing off the original-style spare and mat in the trunk.
Part of what makes these cars a legend is that 1955 was the first production year for the small block V8. The only optional eight-cylinder in this inaugural year was the 265 cubic-inch motor, and so when you open the hood, it's great to see this now-legendary V8 looking so accurate. In fact, this is an authentic 1955 block! While the excellent presentation of the bold orange paint and all the correct components will have people impressed at the shows, this one is built to be enjoyed on the road, too. That's why you have a Powerglide automatic transmission and modern treads surrounding your classic whitewall tires.
