Chevrolet Camaro 406 V8 1989

General description : 0 - 60 In No Time Flat

Just Toys Classic Cars brings you a wide variety of custom, classic, antique, and muscle cars. Here is a 1984 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z28 drag car. this baby was built to run, and run she does. The paint for the age is in really good shape. As you will see in the pics there is a chip or two here and there, but we are talking about a car that goes down the quarter mile and not a 300,000 Ridler award winner. There is still plenty of shine in this paint and anyway, the main thing you want them seeing here is your tail lights from the next lane anyway.
The interior as you can see has been pretty well gutted minus the dash and door panels. In order to keep weight down, these types of cars have to be very basic. You will see that there is a second seat so you can have a friend get in, sit down, shut up, and hang on. Everything though is very reachable and very easy to read what is going on with your beast going down the old 1320. The steering wheel is also removable for easier entry and exit of the car.
Obviously, under the hood is where the most inportant part of this car sits. Between the frame rails sits a complete 406 roller motor. It has 15.1 compression so yes you are running this bad boy on race gas. All of this power is mated to a 2 speed power glide transmission with a trans brake and 3500 stall converter in it. You can really launch this animal off the line. Then all of this power goes out through 4.56 gears so you really come off the line hard with this baby. The motor almost costs as much as we are asking for the car, and any racers reading this will know we are right. Horespower takes money. All of this gets planted to the ground with a 4 link rear suspension.
To say that you are going to have a hard time getting the ear to ear grin off of your face when driving this piece is an understatment. We offer classic car financing for those that would like to take advantage of the offer. This way you do not have to take all of the cash out at once and get the vehicle of your dreams. We look forward to speaking with you soon, and we look forward to making you the newest member of the Just Toys Classic Cars family.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.

Whether you are looking for a classic Chevy or something else you are guaranteed to find one for sale here at www.classicdigest.com
