Chevrolet Camaro 454ci 4BBL V8 1967

General description : Power Brakes
Headers with Dual Exhaust
Most car guys know not to tangle with a first-gen Camaro on the street. With a wide variety of factory engine options, not to mention the world's biggest aftermarket, there's just no telling what they have hidden under the hood. Case in point is this awesome 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko Tribute, which packs a 454-cubic inch big block.

The bolero red finish on this car is nicely done. The metalwork is straight and professionally done, with great fit and panel gaps, which is something no paint can hide. Down the sides, a white Yenko/SC stripe runs along each side of the car and the Stinger hood has the Yenko/SC white stripe, which makes the Camaro stand out. There's no way of knowing whether this is a real Yenko, of course, but all the signs are there, including the grille, Yenko side stripes on the fenders, and the two-element taillights out back.

Inside, it's all business thanks to a black vinyl interior, which has been restored. Fresh covers on the seats, new color-matched carpets, and proper door panels were installed, and the result are very neatly done. There is no center console, because this car is all about performance over flash, and you'll be interested to learn that the shifter manages a 4-speed gearbox. The dash has the normal factory gauges as it should be. The OEM steering wheel is the finishing touch to the cool interior.

Under the hood the Yenko Tribute sports a 454-cubic inch big block with Edelbrock intake and has a Demon 4-barrel carburetor sitting on top, below the chrome air cleaner. Headers flowing into a set of Flowmaster mufflers gives the 454 a nice tone. Rolling stock consists of fresh Rallye wheels wearing P235/60/R15 front and P255/60/R15 rear Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 radials, which complete the look.

While not exactly a sleeper, this extremely potent Camaro doesn't need to advertise its muscle. Call or email today!
