Behoorlijk zeldzaam deze Chevrolet Corvair in Cabriolet uitvoering! Een verrassend concept was het zeker, een Amerikaanse auto met de motor achterin en dan ook nog een 6 cilinder boxer met luchtkoeling! Dit exemplaar werd door ons geïmporteerd vanuit de Amerikaanse staat Californië. De invoerbelastingen hebben wij reeds betaald, de auto zal worden geleverd met invoerdocumenten en de Amerikaanse registratie title . De Corvair is in vele opzichten een heel bijzondere auto. Dit was de eerst zogenaamde 'unibody' auto voor Fisher, dus zonder traditioneel chassis ,Fisher was de coachbuilder voor GM. Maar vooral de techniek was erg bijzonder ;een luchtgekoelde 6 cilinder boxer motor, dat was ongekend voor een Amerikaanse auto! Verder straalt de styling echt de Amerikaanse looks uit van die tijd !
