Chevrolet Coupe ZZ4 350 - TPI 1932

General description : 1932 Chevrolet 5 Window Coupe - ALL STEEL If you want to stand out in the crowd of street rods this is the type of car you need to roll up in.  Not only is this car a true all original Steel classic but it is incredibly unique because it's a Chevy!  This car is incredibly well done from front to rear and utilizes high quality components throughout.  Everything was extremely well built and you can tell by inspecting it that every step and detail was carefully thought out.  "Tidy" is one word that comes to mind because it has all been done in such a very clean way.  People often shy away from 32 Chevy's because of the original wood skeletons that can rot and become difficult to repair but this one has been entirely changed out with tubular steel.  The body is in great condition and all steel except for the fenders.  It is painted in a Black Emerald color that has a beautiful finish.  Underneath the car is a custom tube chassis that was built by the Roadster Shop.  Everything on the underside is painted to match and is show ready.  All of the body work was done by Mickey Galloway including shaving the doors and deck lid for a slick look.  Some of the pictures were taking prior to adding the side panel grills and chrome runners on the running boards but they are currently in place.  Up front are the original style large circle headlights with the headlight bar and mesh style Chevy grill.  In back are LED rectangle taillights and all of the electrical is working properly.  Adding a bit of toughness to the exterior is the mini tubs which let people know this car is packing a little more than your standard stock motor.  It rides on Budnik wheels (front: 15X6, rear: 17x12) which are wrapped with fresh tires.  The side panels are removable and the car is sometimes driven without them to show off the very well built Chevy Performance Shop ZZ4 that gets those tires spinning.  The motor is dressed up with a ton of chrome and billet components throughout.  It also utilizes a Street Performance Tune Port Fuel Injection system which really increases the performance of the 350.  Cooling is never an issue with the Aluminum radiator, electric fan and custom billet hoses.  Paired with the motor is a built up Street Performance 350 automatic transmission.  The rear end/suspension on this car is like a work of art being a fully chromed out Heidts Independent Rear that just looks amazing.  Taking it one step further is the custom exhaust incorporated into the rear and dumping below the center.  The front is chromed out just as nicely and is a Heidts Super Ride unit.  It has 4 wheel disc brakes throughout and is one of the smoothest driving 32s on the road.  This is definitely a classic that can be driven with comfort to a show but also take home the top awards afterwards.   The interior is complete by Sid Chavers out of California who a lot of people know as the creator of the most popular roadster top ever made, the Bop Top.  This classic doesn't need one of those but Sid Chavers handy work is all on the inside.  It is done in a two tone Grey tweed and European leather combo that is in great shape as well as the European carpet.  The dash has been kept very clean with an extremely cool Dakota Digital gauge set up that is frenched into the middle and sits between the Vintage AC/Heat vents.  In front of the driver is a tilt column that has been painted to match and is topped with a Budnik steering wheel.  The AC/Heat controls are mounted in a custom drop down tucked under the dash and the Carolina Sound Sony AM/FM/CD player is in a custom overhead console.  The power window controls are mounted to the lower section of the door along with the door handles which were cleverly inlayed over the darker Grey in the color scheme.  The trunk of the car is nicely finished out as well with a chrome fire extinguisher and removable, "Chevrolet" embroidered, rear panel.  Even if you found a solid original Chevrolet body to start with there is no way you replicate this car for our asking price.  The pictures don't do it justice so send us an email and we will send you more.  One look at the undercarriage and the quality of the build becomes very clear.  SOLD - PLEASE CHECK OUT OUR OTHER CARS!!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
