Chevrolet Impala 350 V8 1964

General description : 1964 Chevrolet Impala 1964 would mark the end of the 3rd generation of Impalas before they were redesigned in 1965.  This version continues to be one of the most sought after classics on the market.  The car pictured here has a great look and was just completed.  A lot of time and money goes into building a car so this is a great opportunity to snatch one up that was just finished out.  The body is solid, straight and rust free.  It is painted in a Dark Cobalt Blue which is combined with a White top for a really unique look.  All of the chrome and trim pieces are in good shape and cleanly mounted in place.  Super Sport badges have also been added.  The car has a great stance and with the added air bag suspension the stance is fully adjustable.  Dual batteries are in place with one powering the air bag system.  The American Racing wheels with low profile tires look great on the car and nicely tuck under the fenders when you drop it down.  Under the hood is a fresh 350 V8 motor that has racked up only 500 miles since being done.  These motors are very reliable and this one has topped with a lot of after market chrome/billet components so it is show ready.  It features a polished serpentine belt system, ceramic coated headers, an aluminum radiator, dual electric fans and lots of chrome.  Electric exhaust dumps were installed and are such a cool feature to have.  With a push of the button you can open them up and really show off how nice the car sounds.  Paired with the motor is a Turbo 350 transmission that moves through the gears smoothly.  Up front the car has disc brakes and all are power assisted which along with the power steering makes it a very comfortable car to drive.  The interior is done in a very nice White and Gray combination that looks great.  The bucket seats are comfortable and sit to each side of the original style center console.  The dash has the original layout with the correct gauges, switches and engine turned trim.  It is painted in a nice Gray and the steering wheel was done to match.  This is a really fun car that needs nothing but a new home! About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
