Offered here we have a 1937 Chevrolet Street Rod Truck. This street rod gets enormous attention and thumbs up everywhere it goes. The steel cab sits on a custom frame which was built with 2 inch by 3 inch materials. The bed is original but has been cut down and has a new hickory bed. Sitting in the bed of the truck is a new Harwood 8-gallon fuel cell. The front is a Mustang II Rack and Pinion, the front spindles are from an 84 S-10 Blazer with a 2 inch drop and 11 inch rotors. The rear end is also from an 84 S-10 Blazer. The exterior was painted in GM truck victory red with a clear coat finish and has a great look and shine!

When you open the door, and sit in the Pro Custom seats, you are presented with a new wood dash and all new gauges, Tachometer, and speedometer. The interior is done in a grey tweed cloth and has all new tinted glass.

Turn the key and fire up the '69 Chevy 350 which has been bored .30 over to a 355, has World heads, 202 intake stainless valves, 194 exhaust valves, Block Hugger polished headers, and polished side pipes. Comp cam lifters, Comp intake, roller rockers and an Edelbrock carb. The '37 has a 4-bolt main and a 350 Turbo automatic with a shift kit. The vehicle was CAT certified and weighed at 2480 pounds.

Despite the availability of components, building a quality street rod that looks, runs, and drives as it should, is still a serious undertaking. The builders of this Chevy didn't cut a single corner, and it shows from every angle. With all the right parts, and tasteful looks that will always draw a crowd, this slick little street rod would be a great addition to any garage. Don't miss the chance to park it in yours!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
