This classic 1962 Dodge Dart not only looks great in what I believe is a candy red over gold paint but packs a 440 Cubic inch engine with a 727 torque flight transmission. Now The Chrysler Corp. used to like to add terms to their engine size such as 440 Magnum, or Commando or even Super Commando. The owner of this car tells us that the 440 under the hood is a magnum. This 440 has been dressed up with the right parts. Headers to help it exhale, Mopar intake with Edelbrock intake and MSD Distributor just to name a few. With Power steering and brakes, front disc rear drum this Dart is ready to roll to the next cruise in or show. Just swing open the door, slide into the driver's seat, twist the key and bring that big cubic inch Mopar to a low roar then reach for the shifter only to realize that this Dart has the push button shifter. Dodge Brothers Company, founded by Horace and John Dodge in 1900, initially produced components for car manufacturers.
