1964 Dodge Dart GT The 50th Anniversary Edition 1964 Dodge Dart GT is a complete rebuild with under 900 miles. Glamorous looks and a perfect balance between enticing drivability, and healthy cruising power has made the GTs highly collectible. The powerful Charger 225 Slant 6 is highly detailed and is show ready. The rebuild also included new oil pump, timing chain, valve seals, and a Holley card. The spark has had an upgrade with Pertronix electronic ignition with 40,000-volt coil. The unique feature is the 904-push button transmission with an upgraded trans cooler. To keep this GT running cool under any driving condition a 3-core aluminum radiator. Stop on a dime thanks to front powered disc brakes with dual master cylinder with proper proportioning and metering valve. New rear drum brakes, shoes and wheel cylinders. Dart GTs suspension setup is in the form of front independent control arms with lateral torsion bars and direct-acting tubular shocks, and a rear axle with 5-leaf springs. New tie rods, ball joints and idler arm. New universal joints on the balanced driveline, and a rebuilt 7 ¼ rear axle. Making the Dart quite simply one of the best driving vehicles available, thanks to its rear-wheel-drive setup and well-balanced weight distribution. The Power Steering is surprisingly responsiveness making this GT a dream to drive. All new interior by Legendary is stunning. The two-tone GT interior with embossed logo is done the correct Chevrolet blue mist poly. The restored vintage oil and amperes SW gauges stand out with re-chromed dash panel. The original stock radio has been converted to AM/FM with MP3 flash drive. The Dart also has all new glass. The mirror metallic Sky-blue paint with a blue mist poly stripe that matches the two-tone interior is a crowd stopper! All the chrome and stainless have been redone and received a show polish treatment. Plus, new taillight lenses. About Dodge
Dodge Brothers Company, founded by Horace and John Dodge in 1900, initially produced components for car manufacturers.
