Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this slick 1972 Dodge Dart. This slick yellow 4-door is packing a healthy 318 cubic inch V8 under the hood. It has recently been hopped up with a bigger camshaft, an aluminum intake manifold, and some headers to really wring out the performance of this Banana Yellow sedan. Power is pushed through a 3-speed automatic transmission into the rear wheels. The black vinyl interior is in great shape, and both the front and rear seats are comfortable to be in for hours! The windows have been tinted all around for some extra style, but it also helps keep the interior temps cooler during the summer months. Power steering and power brakes make driving this classic a breeze. A few custom touches were added, such as the "smiley guy" in the rear stripe, as well as a few other removable decals. This 4-door makes getting the whole family involved is as easy as peeling a banana, and this Banana sure can peel out!

About Dodge
Dodge Brothers Company, founded by Horace and John Dodge in 1900, initially produced components for car manufacturers. In 1914 they stepped into car manufacturing when introducing four-cylinder Dodge Model 30 with all-steel body and 12v electric system.

By 1920 Dodge had become the second biggest car manufacturer in the USA, unfortunately the same year both of the brothers died, the company in turn to was sold to Chrysler Corporation in 1928. Dodge found a niche Chrysler Corporation lineup above low-priced Plymouth and medium-priced DeSoto, but somewhat below the top-of-the-line Chrysler
