Dodge Pick Up Straight 8 1944

General description : 1944 Dodge WF-32 1 1/2 ton Pickup We are very excited to have the opportunity to sell any classic out there but occasionally some come along that are just so unique that it seems even more special.  This 1944 Dodge 1 1/2 Ton is one of those and we can't wait to find it the perfect home.  You just don't see these types of vehicles anymore especially restored to this caliber.  This truck most likely spent a lot of years on the farm before being redone to the beautiful condition you see it in today.  We look at these truck nowadays in awe of their style and beauty but back in the day their purpose was to work and work hard they did.  Trucks were meant to haul stuff and the bigger the bed, the faster your work was done.  Make that bed hydraulic and now you had any farmers dream.  The truck was mostly restored prior to the current owner who has had it in their possession for 7 years.  During that time it has had some improvements and continued to be very well maintained.  The original restoration was completed in 2011.  The Red and Black color combo looks great and the paint has a very clean shine.  All of the stainless and chrome is in good shape as well.  There is 1 small crack in the rear windshield but other than that all of the glass is in great condition.  The wood bed in back is very cleanly done and not only are the hydraulics working but they were also painted Red/Black to match the rest of the body.  The truck performs and shows very well. The drivetrain is believed to be all original but has been rebuilt.  It consists of a straight 6 motor and 4 speed manual transmission.  Since rebuilt the motor has only racked up 300 miles as the truck is primarily being used for parades and the occasional blue grass concert.  The interior has been painted Red with the upholstery work done in Black.  The Black carpet, Black door panels and Black bench seat all look good.  The layout is all stock with stock features and the gauges all work properly.  The wiper and wiper motor is not currently installed but does come with the purchase.   If you are on the hunt for something different then this is definitely one to look into.  You aren't going to find another one quite like this.  Use it on your property, cruise in a parade, or take it to a show.  It is a big conversation piece wherever it makes an appearance.  This truck has been SOLD!
