Here's an extraordinary, rotisserie built, 1946 Ford convertible! It's all steel and all Ford! It has a 302ci V8 and a C4 automatic transmission! The engine and car only have 3,800 miles on them! The rear end is an 8 inch with 2:79 gears for highway cruising and the front end is Mustang II. The 302 V8 has an Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake manifold, an Edelbrock carburetor, ceramic coated headers into Flowmaster dual exhaust, a K&N filter charger, Mallory ignition, a polished aluminum air cleaner housing, polished aluminum valve covers, brand new Vintage A/C and heat, and many chrome and billet accessories! The hood has gas charge struts, it has H4 headlight upgrades, the firewall has been smoothed, and it has power steering and power disc brakes! Inside it has gorgeous burgundy upholstery and carpet, a split bench seat, a very nicely constructed convertible top cover, a tilt steering column, all working factory gauges and speedometer, a very tidy trunk with a battery cover, and a Pioneer MP3 CD player with Infinity speakers! The '46 Ford sits of a classic set of 16x7 and 16x8 American Racing wheels that give it the perfect look. The glass and chrome are in immaculate condition, it has very tasteful ghost flames on the hood and running boards, and the beautiful paint color is a BMW PP&G Brilliant Silver! This is a no pick, show quality car! As you would imagine, it's as smooth running and driving as the rest of the car is looking!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.
In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.
In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
