Ford F-150 1990

General description : 1990 Ford Lariat XLT If you wanted one of these Lariat XLTs new but didn't have the opportunity to pick one up then this is your chance!  This 1990 Ford Lariat XLT has been completely redone and is the closest you will be able to find to a new one.  In many cases the truck is probably even better than new condition.  Everything was restored around 7,000 miles ago and the truck is in immaculate shape.  It is without a doubt the nicest one on the road.  Coated in a nice Red paint the truck has a beautiful shine without zero signs of rust, damage, body work, etc.  It is pretty amazing how flawless it really is.  Color matched rhino liner was applied in the bed and even that is in great condition.  A matching toolbox is mounted in the bed made from diamond plate that is painted red.  The chrome grill, chrome side mirrors, and chrome front bumper have a great finish and are polished out to a very nice shine.   After market taillights were added and with the smooth tailgate and rear bumper give it a slightly custom look from the rear.  Custom wheels sit under all four corners and are wrapped with Toyo tires.  Powering the car is a completely rebuilt 5.0L fuel injected V8 that runs extremely well.  It was completed along with the restoration 7,000 miles ago and is fitted with Ford Racing valve covers, an MSD distributor, and K&N cold air intake.  Paired with the engine is a 4 speed Automatic with overdrive TCI transmission.  The exhaust is routed out of the side, in front of the rear wheels, and utilizes chrome tips and delivers a great sound.  Disc brakes are found up front with drum in rear and are power assisted.  It is fully loaded with all the power options making it a very easy driver.  The stock suspension is in place but it has been completely rebuilt as well.  It is evident by taking a look at the undercarriage how complete of a restoration this was.    The interior is finished out in a two tone Tan and Brown leather that looks really nice.  The bench seat is very comfortable and incorporates a large center armrest that folds down.  The dash is done in a similar color and is topped with stock gauges, knobs, and switches that looks just as new as the rest of the truck.  A Momo steering has been added and incorporates a touch of Red to match the Red piping on the door panels and red lines on the dash trim.  The AC/Heating system works properly as does the aftermarket Pioneer AM/FM/CD player.  If you are in the market for a nice solid pickup then this is definitely one to check out.  There are certainly other 90 Ford pickups out there for sale but none can compare to the condition this one is in.  Make this like new Lariat XLT yours for the reduced price of $17,750.00 $14,500.00!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.

Today classic Fords are extremely popular with enthusiasts and a great selection of classic Fords can be found for sale at www.ClassicDigest.com
