2019 Ford Mustang BULLITT If you are involved in the classic car world at all there is a good chance you remember back in 2018 when Steve McQueens Bullitt movie car was suddenly bought back into the public eye. The timing couldn't be more perfect because in 2019 Ford released their new BULLITT edition. The original car toured around for a bit before becoming the most valuable Mustang ever when brought in $3.4 million at auction. The new Bullitt cars had some big shoes to fill and Ford did an excellent job in paying tribute to the original. The new Mustang has a much more sleek modern appearance but nicely pays homage to the vintage original. These cars were a very limited edition and the one you see here is among one of the lowest mileage ones available. With only 750 total original miles it is basically still a brand new car. It has been driven very little and extremely well maintained. Below is some of the stock specs. This car was also ordered with some extra optional equiptment including the BULLITT electronics package, BLIS with cross traffic alert, B&O premium sound system with 12 speaker system, voice activated touchscreen navigation system, the front license plate bracket, 50 state emissions system and a Magne ride damping system. All of this is outlined on the original window sticker that comes with the car. If you wanted one new but didn't have the opportunity in 2019 then this thing is probably the closest you can get. It is an extremely clean car that needs nothing but a new garage to call home. If you are a Mustang collector than this special edition is a must have. This car has been SOLD! About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.
In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.
In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
