General description :
The introduction of the Jaguar E in March of 1961 at the Geneva Salon was a sensation and the E-Type became Jaguar's signature model. Over the years there have been various improvements, like the series 3 with V12 engine (5.3 liter cubic capacity) starting 1971. The longer wheelbase from the 2+2 Coupe also became standard for the Roadster so that tall humans also had a comfortable way to sit in the desired Jaguar! Our E-Type Roadster from the series 3 was built in 1973. Its current owner bought the "classic car" in Florida in 2008. At that time it was refurbished to match European standards and got a new coat of paint. Over time, a lot of attention and detailed work went into this classic car, including the very impressive V12 engine with 6 liter cubic capacity as known from the X300, a forged crankshaft and a five-speed gearbox. Two hearts beat in this Roadster's chest: Up to 3000 rpm the car doesn't draw much attention but after that it turns into a force of driving power! The technical effort put into this car is amazing and yet its asking price is modest!
