This is a rare e-type that was built in July 1961 and was delivered to it's first owner in New Jersey in September of that same year. This is the 240th e-type made, and it features the highly coveted exterior bonnet latches, welded hood louvers and flat floor pans that are only found on the first 500 produced. Originally dressed in cream with red interior and black top, it now sports a beautiful metallic silver paint job with black interior and a dark blue soft top - a stunning combination. This numbers matching jaguar came to us from a local collector who has really kept it in excellent condition during his ownership. Though not a concourse level restoration, this is a high level driver condition that can be driven and enjoyed for years to come.
