Jaguar Mk2 3.4 well documented past 30 yrs, restored condition, o 1967

General description : This very nice Californian “Blue Plate’ 1967 Jaguar MK2 3.4, was exported to the Netherlands on the 12th January 1994 and was registered there on the 13th July 1995. After keeping the car in its original state for over 10 years, the MK2 was sold to its second Dutch owner on the 31st March 2005. A year and a half later the car was fully restored, In 2014 it was mechanically completely overhauled and in 2015 it was given a new gearbox. Over the last 30 years an amazing amount of documentation has been accumulated including, a plethora of old invoices, the change of ownership in ’83, invoices relating to an engine revision in ’84, the original old US papers, Californian Blue Plate, the ’94 import papers and ‘95 Dutch ‘RDW’ check. Photos and invoices relating to the restoration are present as well. The MK2’s bodywork is in excellent condition, nice and straight with good body panel fittings. The treated original underbody is particularly sound and, of course, rust-free. The MK2 has a Solent Blue finish with a grey leather interior trim. The part original interior has a very pleasing patina. All of the wooden accents are splendid. It has manual transmission with overdrive and chrome wire wheels. All in all this is a superbly nice MK2 with a very extensively documented history. What more can one wish for? Gallery Aaldering is Europe’s leading Classic Cars specialist since 1975! About Jaguar Mk2
The Jaguar Mk2 3.8 manual overdrive is a classic sports sedan produced by the British automaker Jaguar Cars from 1959 to 1967. The Mk2 was the successor to the earlier Mk1, and the manual overdrive version was an option for those who preferred a more engaging driving experience.

The Mk2 manual overdrive was powered by a range of engines, including a 2.4-liter, 3.4-liter, and 3.8-liter inline-six engines. These engines produced up to 220 horsepower and were paired with a four-speed manual gearbox that featured an overdrive gear, which allowed for more relaxed cruising at high speeds.

The Mk2 manual overdrive had advanced suspension and braking systems, with independent suspension and disc brakes on all four wheels. It also had a luxurious interior with leather seats, wood trim, and a range of options such as air conditioning and power windows.

The Mk2 manual overdrive was known for its exceptional handling and performance, with a top speed of up to 125 mph and acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 8.5 seconds. Its design was also innovative for its time, featuring a unitary construction and a four-wheel independent suspension.

The Jaguar Mk2 manual overdrive has become an iconic classic car, with many enthusiasts still restoring and driving them today. Its design and performance continue to inspire car designers and collectors alike.
