Vintage and Prestige are proud to offer this 1964 Jaguar MK II 3.8 Pete Lander /Sigma Engineering 300bhp engine.
Currently undergoing UK registration.
This MKII is truly the best of both worlds; other than a few extra gauges and a momo steering wheel the interior is as standard as they come and in excellent condition.
Beautifully fluted leather and heavily veneered wood, the seats are in excellent condition and extremely comfortable. The dashboard is full up with a smiths fuel and water temperature gauge, Racetech oil pressure and temperature gauges, there is also a rev-counter next to the speedo.
The exterior is finished in Jaguar Sherwood Green and along with the chrome is in excellent condition, there are race decals to the front doors and bonnet, which can easily be removed if preferred. A fiberglass, quick release bonnet is also fitted and 2 tow irons to the front.
The suspension is visibly lower due to a complete race suspension setup which makes the arches perfectly fit the Minilight wheels, an improved brake system has also been fitted including front intercooled disks. The engine is simply magnificent; built by arguably the best in the business Peter Lander from SIGMA Engineering. The power this MKII has is incredible; it truly would be a challenge to use it all! The engine is matched to a 5 speed Getrag gearbox which balances the power perfectly.
The second the engine fires you hear the 3.8 litre roar and it is immediately apparent that there this a beast lurking beneath the bonnet.
An exceptional machine that with a little work could turn in to a competitive MKII, in our showroom and ready for viewing.
