This may seem incredible, but we can assure you that this 373,059 km Jaguar XJ6 4.2 series 3, is absolutely in a top-quality condition. The car has always been perfectly maintained and driven with the upmost care. It was bought in the Netherlands on the 22nd November 1983. For the first 12 years the car was used as a directors` car, driving back and forwards from Amsterdam to The Hague on a daily basis. It was then sold on to a private Jag enthusiast. It had regular 10,000 km services and every 3 years it received an anti-rust treatment. The splendid original interior is very much intact and thanks to many regular leather treatments, shows no sign of wear and tear. At 200,000 km the engine was completely overhauled, the cylinder head was modified for lead-free petrol. This job was very well executed, the 173,059 km driven since attesting to this fact! The engine runs smoothly and is mechanically flawless. The splendid bodywork has perfectly fitting body panels. Finished in the original colour scheme of ‘ Metallic Claret’ with a ‘Biscuit’ trim.
