Jaguar XK120 SE FHC fully restored condition! only 753 Special Equipme 1951

General description : This wonderful example of a 1951 Jaguar XK 120 Fixed Head Coupe SE was imported to the Netherlands some 23 years ago. The owner then had the car completely restored and mechanically revised, together with full photographically documentation. Because following the restoration the car has been very carefully and sparingly used, the quality of that restoration still shines through superbly. The arrow straight bodywork has perfect fitting body panels. The paint finish and chrome details are simply splendid! The uncorroded underbody is as good as it was when new. Only 753 of these Special Equipment versions were ever produced, with C-type cylinder heads, more power and chrome wire wheels. This one still has her matching numbers engine. Although we could go on and on: In the end this is a beautifully restored, extensively documented XK 120, finished in a favourite colour scheme!

About Jaguar XK120
The Jaguar XK120 is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful sports cars of the 1940s, and indeed one of the most beautiful cars ever made. It was introduced in 1948 and remained in production until 1954.

The XK120 was powered by a 3.4-liter straight-six engine that produced up to 160 horsepower, which was a significant amount of power for a sports car of its time. It was also one of the first cars to feature disc brakes, which gave it impressive stopping power.

But it was the XK120's stunning design that truly set it apart. Its long hood, flowing lines, and sleek curves made it an instant classic, and it was favored by celebrities and racing drivers alike. The XK120 was also available as a roadster or a coupe, further adding to its appeal.

The XK120 was also a successful racing car, winning numerous races and setting several speed records. It was a favorite of racing drivers such as Stirling Moss and Juan Manuel Fangio, and helped to establish Jaguar as a major force in international motorsport.

Overall, the Jaguar XK120 was a true automotive masterpiece, combining beauty, performance, and innovation in a way that few cars have been able to match.
