Description : Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1982 Lincoln Mark VI! In this writer's opinion this is the Lincoln Mark to own in the modern age.

Different from the previous and larger Lincolns this version is a MUCH more garage friendly package! You still retain a lot of the cargo space, comfort, and luxury offered by Marv IV and Vs alike.

The drivetrain is 302 V8 with a 4-speed automatic transmission - and again this combination is MUCH more friendly for todays road and demands. Ford's 302 engines are still fan favorites in classics and restorations, so if you wish to modify the engine or keep it stock there are a lot of options available!

The CarFax begins recording mileage in 1990 at 40,035 miles and faithfully passes emissions with the mileage going up ever so slightly year after year. In 2013 the vehicle was serviced by a dealer in Texas where it appears to have spent a few years before making it ways to Illinois.

Overall condition is quite good with no major defects noted inside or out. The color is appropriate to the style of the vehicle and the interior is incredibly comfortable with some 80s quirk finding their way into the classic styling.

Upon consignment everything tested was working including the AC. The vehicle also has power brakes, powering steering, and cruise control!

This 1982 Lincoln Mark VI is offered by the St. Louis sales staff and can be seen in full detail on our website. Our listing all include 100+ HD photos and a detailed video! GatewayClassicCars.com

About Lincoln
Lincoln, often regarded as more than just an upmarket Ford, has carved its own niche in the automotive world with a rich history and a lineup of distinctive models. Let's take a stroll down the memory lane of Lincoln's story.

Early Beginnings:

Founded in 1917 by Henry Leland, the man behind the Cadillac brand, Lincoln initially started as a luxury automobile company. The brand quickly gained a reputation for its quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The Ford Era:

In 1922, Lincoln was acquired by the Ford Motor Company, and this marked the beginning of a long association. Ford aimed to position Lincoln as its luxury division, competing with other prestigious brands in the market.

Classic Models:

Over the years, Lincoln introduced several iconic models that left a lasting impact on the automotive landscape:

Lincoln Continental: Launched in the 1940s, the Continental became an instant classic. Its elegant design and iconic suicide doors made it a symbol of luxury and sophistication.
Lincoln Town Car: Introduced in the 1980s, the Town Car became synonymous with chauffeur-driven luxury. Its spacious interior and smooth ride made it a favorite among executives and dignitaries.
Lincoln Navigator: The late '90s saw the rise of the SUV craze, and Lincoln was quick to respond with the Navigator. A full-size luxury SUV, the Navigator combined opulence with utility and became a popular choice among affluent families.
